International Service
International Service encompasses efforts to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach
around the world and to promote world understanding and peace. It includes
everything from contributing to
PolioPlus to helping Rotary Youth Exchange students
adjust to their host countries.

World Community Service (WCS) projects begin when Rotary clubs from two or more countries collaborate on a community service initiative. WCS allows Rotary clubs
searching for international assistance to publicize their project’s needs to clubs in
other countries that might be willing to provide funds, materials, and technical or
professional assistance. Clubs that would like to support an international service effort
can locate a project or a Matching Grant  partner through WCS.
